I am a professional contractor & electrical engineer with more than 30 years experience.Usually, I buy American made tools and accessories ONLY.Thought I'd take a chance on these. BIG MISTAKE.Drills arrived in POOR PACKAGING.Several had fallen out of CHEAP METAL BOX.The drills were BARELY SHARPENED & OFF-CENTER.
The drills are multi-colored - obviously from overheating in cheap oil to make them "LOOK" special.
There is no independent confirmation these are cobalt alloy.In fact, I used three of them just to drill slowly into dry oak base molding.BROKE THREE DRILLS INSIDE OAK!!!WTF!!!I will never buy tools again from the Tool Crib, or from Amazon.Stick with USA made such as Norseman, Tru-Cut or Triumph Twist.Sure, you pay two to three times more, but you'll never break one unless you use it for a chisel.
This is what happens when one try to savea few $$$ and buys product made by forced CHINESE PRISON LABOR.
