Review of Milwaukee 48-89-0050 29-Piece 1/16-Inch to 1/2-Inch Cobalt Twist Drill Bit Assortment in Metal Index

These are what drill bits should be, they are straight and sharp.I was using my drill press when tired them.First on wood, they started where I wanted, no skipping, cut clean, both entry and exit, true, with out deflection, and with such ease from the smallest to the largest in softwood or hardwood. This wasn't love but it was a thrill I was totally satisfied right then but I had to try metal. The same results I don't work with Stainless or Titanium. These bits are a real pleasure. These are the most expensive set of Drill Bits that I have ever purchased I'm sorry I spent so much money on cheaper bits.

Product Description:
Jobber-length bits are most common type of drill bits. The length of the flutes is ten times the diameter of the drill. Milwaukee's 29-Piece Cobalt Jobbers Twist Drill Bit Set is perfect for everyday tasks as well as heavy duty jobs that require drilling through hard materials. The bits range in size from 1/16-inch to 1/2-inch, allowing for a wide range of boring options. Like other drill bits made from cobalt steel, these Milwaukee bits have an exceptional ability to maintain their hardness at high temperatures. This enables them to pierce materials such as stainless steel and titanium without a substantial reduction in sharpness. On top of that, they feature self-centering capabilities and 135-degree split-point construction for minimal walk. If you're looking for drill bits that will stand up to the most demanding tasks, this is a good option.
